ANNOUNCING NEW SERVICES

PAPERWORK REVIEW

We are offering a low-cost review of medical and relevant records, for those times when you need case management feedback. This review is useful when preparing for depositions, arriving at litigation strategy, determining the necessity for other services, and, sometimes, just deciphering complex issues in a case. Examples would be deposing FCE personnel, deposing doctors, identifying damages issues, identifying complex medical issues, or identifying potential treatments to discuss with a physician, especially in pain cases where nonpain physicians often overlook potential treatments.

CAVEAT: These reviews are only as good as the information you provide. If you don't provide all the information, then you won't get as much analytical benefit.

VOCATIONAL PAPERWORK REVIEW

We have had several requests for a smaller vocational format, for cases where the cost of a full vocational assessment is prohibitive. We now offer a low-cost alternative for vocational assessment. This format is useful for Social Security cases and smaller workers' compensation claims. It also works for workers' compensation claims headed to mediation. Since all paperwork opinions will be hypothetical (like Social Security cases), we cannot offer live testimony without first doing an assessment. This format is not a full vocational assessment and cannot substitute for one. However, it can give you some guidance and direction in settling or managing claims where the dollars involved would not ordinarily justify a full vocational assessment. This format requires the medical records, the injured person's deposition (if one has been taken), the Social Security paperwork (if applicable), and our three-page vocational form, that we will provide for your use.

CAVEAT: Please allow time for a vocational assessment, if the workers' compensation cases do not settle.

COST: All regular paperwork reviews cost $200. An expedited paperwork review costs $400, for deadlines with less than two weeks' notice. We hope these services will be helpful to you.
